President / Principals Christmas Message

Dear Members of the Cardinal Hayes Community:

As we approach the great feast of Christmas we want to wish you and your families a blessed and Merry Christmas. As Catholics, we know that Christmas is a celebration of the miracle of the Incarnation, through which Jesus took on humanity in order to complete God's plan for the salvation of mankind.

At Hayes, we have lit the Advent Wreath, participated in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and worked to make Christmas a meaningful event in the lives of our young men. The spirit of the season is amplified by the generosity of our students as they have collected thousands of dollars in food items and hundreds of toys for the less fortunate in our community. As we prepare for the birth of Christ let us pray for the continued return to normalcy for all those affected by COVID and other sicknesses, those victims of oppression and poverty, those impacted by the horror of war, and for all who need our prayers.
