The Challenger

(Member of the Columbia Scholastic Press Association) (All Years) Journalism is an activity designed for highly motivated students who wish to understand and participate in the generation, collection and editing of reports on recent, previously unknown and noteworthy events for presentation in the media. Students will hone their observational, referential and inferential cognitive skills as well as college preparatory level mechanics of writing, proofreading and editing. The Challenger encourages submissions of letters or guest articles; requests for coverage of events, sports or clubs, and all questions, corrections and comments.
