Cityscapes
Cityscapes is an annual publication that showcases the best writing and art from the Cardinal Hayes student body. Every volume of Cityscapes features poetry, short-fiction, essays, art and graphic design pieces. Once a week, the club meets to work on submissions and page layout as well as to edit work. Students interested in publishing in Cityscapes are encouraged to attend some of the meetings of the Cardinal Society of Poetry. Cityscapes is a unique organization because they are responsible for producing a publication that serves as testimony to the creativity and hard work of Hayes students.

The Mission of Cardinal Hayes High School, a community based in Roman Catholic values, is to inspire diverse young men of the New York City metropolitan area to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. We will accomplish this goal by encouraging students' spiritual and intellectual growth through a rigorous college preparatory program of academics, extra-curricular activities, and personal discipline.
