Religion At Hayes
Hayes offers four years of Religion classes: Bible Studies, Catholic Morality,
Marriage, Social Issues and Church History. Mass is celebrated each morning in
the chapel at 7:25AM. The school day begins and ends with prayer
and there is also a special retreat program just for seniors.
Students prepare and plan religious activities throughout the year. There are
Thanksgiving and Christmas projects for the poor, and weekly collections for the
Missions and the impoverished around the world. We also have an "Outreach
Program" at Lincoln Hospital, a bi-monthly "Exceptional Children's Program"
and a "Big Brothers Program." Other services include Rosary, Stations of the
Cross during Lent and the Sacrament of Penance.
